MarBorg provides unique recycling services for commercial and industrial clients. Clients can see a cost savings by choosing to practice on-site material separation themselves. If on-site separation does not fit within your space and time requirements, MarBorg will separate recyclable materials at its recycling facility. MarBorg recycles cardboard, wood waste, green waste, metals and inert materials (rock, asphalt, concrete, rubble and dirt). Construction sites generated an incredible amount of reusable waste. MarBorg Industries provides contractors with the outlet for these recyclable materials. On-Site Consultation: We will go to the job site and develop a diversion program that best suits the needs of the contractor. Our primary focus is creating a successful diversion program that is easy to use. Job-Site Diversion Programs: A typical job-site diversion programs might include separating the materials, such as wood scraps, green waste, metal and rubble into separate loads. For these programs to be successful, the continuing education of sub-contractors is a very important. Some projects have space limitations that can limit their participation in a job-site diversion program. MarBorg Industries C & D Facility: MarBorg Industries operates a C & D (Construction & Demolition) Recycling Facility. This facility supports the recycling efforts of contractors in our area. On smaller projects, where space is tight, mixed recycle loads are often the only option. We transport these loads to our C & D facility, where they are separated. This allows contractors to mixed wood ends with concrete and drywall. Some other recyclable materials acceptable in mixed loads are brick, dirt, green waste, cardboard, carpet padding and metal. Job-Site Diversion Reporting: MarBorg Industries provides a Job-Site Diversion Report at the conclusion of the job. This report includes the total tonnage of waste generated by a project, as well as the amount of the total waste diverted from the landfill. The weights of the recyclable commodities are broken down into their respective categories. Our pilot job-site diversion program, that reported on Investec Construction's Summerland Heights project, earned them the 1999 WRAP (Waste Reduction Awards Program) award presented by the state Integrated Waste Management Board. |
