Starting in March 2009 residential recycling in the City of Goleta and the County of Santa Barbara will be collected on the same day as trash and greenwaste. The service will continue to be bi-weekly, however the service day and service week in some instances will be different. We are combining the hauling service so that everything is picked up on the same day to make it simple for our customers.
Customers who have curbside service and will be affected by the change should be receiving an informational flyer on their recycling container during the end of February. All customers will be receiving their recycling magnet that contains their 2009 schedule in the mail at the end of February.
As a reminder you can increase your recycling capacity by upgrading to a larger container at no additional cost (up to 95 gallons). If you choose to do so, please call us at 963-1852 or email us at service@marborg.com.
